For a San Francisco high rise renovation, the decorative lighting was a big part of the design process. It had to provide sufficient light for big gatherings and complement the interior design without upstaging the homeowner’s art collection. Principle Designer Kim Bradley of Kim Bradley Design Group immediately reached out to Hammerton knowing they would help accomplish her goals.
Kim chose two multi-port chandelier styles featuring Aalto and Gem blown glass to serve as ‘jewelry’ without obstructing the beautiful bay views. Integrated LED allows light to reflect off the glass, creating a stunning effect of shimmer and shadow. The lights also softened the apartment’s original design. “Incorporating Hammerton Studio lighting created a perfect marriage in this home between the masculine and the feminine,” explains Kim. The end look is tailored, artistic, sophisticated and inviting.
“My clients love the unique style and quality of Hammertom Studio lights, and I love the versatility. Like a hug when you enter the room, they encourage you in to explore the space.”
